Hi, I'm Richelle. I'm a licensed professional clinical counselor with over eight years of experience helping individuals improve their mental health and quality of life. I have worked in a variety of settings, including online therapy which I am currently able to provide to adult clients anywhere in the state of Ohio.

Right now, life may feel hard. You’ve faced many challenges that seemed to have come out of nowhere, and you're constantly doing your best to navigate through them. You struggle to set healthy boundaries and often feel overwhelmed. Asking for help isn't always easy. You may say to yourself, “What will people think? I can figure it out on my own.” It’s tough because you usually go at it alone, carrying the load and bearing the burden. However, deep down inside, you know that something isn't quite right and that you could use some support. Does this sound familiar? As someone who has been there before, I understand how tough it can be to take that first step to reach out.

I have extensive experience treating various mental and emotional issues, including depression, anxiety, stress-related issues, anger, and relational problems. My passion is empowering women to improve their skills in setting boundaries, self-care, and assertive communication. Additionally, I have received training in integrating Christian faith principals into treatment, which is available upon request.

Empathy and respect are two essential elements of creating a teamwork-based therapeutic relationship. Together we can bring lasting solutions with long-term impact.

First off, I want to say that you are courageous because it takes a lot to seek out help when you need it most.  At this moment, your life may feel overwhelming and anxious thoughts will not rest and peace may seem out of reach.  You may feel burdened with guilt and shame where there may be no hope within sight.  I would love to come along side you and help you find that peace, to find hope, and restore balance back into your daily routines.

I have experience with utilizing several different evidence-based approaches tailored to the needs of my clients across many different types of settings.  It is very important to me to approach my clients in a holistic manner, meaning bringing different areas of your life, physical, mental, relational, and spiritual into the counseling process. I utilize various counseling approaches in session, such as person-centered, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), solution-focused, and trauma informed care. Additionally, I have received training in integrating Christian faith principals into treatment.  I will help you develop and achieve manageable goals to discover what is working and what is not and utilize healthy coping skills with empathy and compassion. Regardless of what brings you to counseling, whether its is dealing with anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, parenting transitions and challenges, relational issues, I value that each individual comes into counseling with a different, unique experience where there is not a one size fits all approach.  I will provide you a safe and nonjudgmental space for you to heal and grow.
